In partnership with Songwriters of Highlands Appalachia, held monthly every 2nd Saturday, 2-5 p.m. ET. Beginners, experienced songwriters, and aspiring songwriters are invited to share songs, brainstorm ideas, and encourage each other to keep writing. There is no fee to participate.
Aimed at toddler-age children and their grown-ups, we will gather on the first Friday of each month to read a music or Appalachia-related storybook, sing along with WBCM Radio Bristol show host Ella Patrick, and enjoy a related activity or coloring sheet. There is no cost to attend.
Birthplace of Country Music's 1927 Society presents the 1927 Concert Series, an intimate concert experience with catering and open bar included in the ticket price.
The Birthplace of Country Music Museum, in partnership with the East Tennessee Bluegrass Association, hosts a monthly gathering of local musicians for a free bluegrass jam session every fourth Saturday at the museum, 3-5 p.m.
Join us for the museum's annual Community Day on Saturday, October 25. Admission is FREE all day long, and a wide variety of family-friendly activities will be offered, plus bluegrass music with local jammers will start at 3 p.m.

The Birthplace of Country Music Museum and Songwriters of Highlands Appalachia are proud to announce an exciting new event designed to highlight the talents of songwriters in our region. The Songwriters Circle Showcase will be held at 2 p.m. ET, July 12, in the performance theater at the museum; it is the secons Showcase in a series to be held quarterly each year. The event is free and open to the public; donations are appreciated.
Join the Birthplace of Country Music for a community square dance on Saturday, October 4. Caller Tyler Hughes will lead a short introduction to dance steps, followed by a full square dance with a lively string band. It's always a hand-clapping and foot-stomping good time!
