Bespoke boot maker Lisa Sorrell's creations illustrate how cowboy boots can fulfill both art and function as we explore the history and craft of boot making. You'll get a behind-the-scenes view into the materials and techniques used in creating them, with commentary on the impact of cowboy boots in the lexicon of country and bluegrass music.
Aimed at toddler-age children and their grown-ups, we will gather on the first Friday of each month to read a music or Appalachia-related storybook, sing along with WBCM Radio Bristol show host Ella Patrick, and enjoy a related activity or coloring sheet. There is no cost to attend.
